So this is interesting.  Papergirl was a child when we invited her to Sindy’s party, and Thomas was a few days into being a teen.  She was a teen when she arrived at the party, but now Thomas is a day away from turning YA and she’s beaten him to it.  I hate when the game does that.  Still, they spammed the friendly interactions so that the romantic ones should be a breeze when the time comes.

Following her mother’s exploits in the graveyard, Sindy does some guitarin’ there to see if she can scope out a male blue ghost but no-one’s around.  She made some money in tips though.  Who knew sims carried simoleans over into the afterlife?  Well you do now.

The next day she;s back on familiar territory, and look at who’s getting in on the action – look Sekemoto, I didn’t let her mother date you, I’m hardly going to let Gen 2 try it on with you, especially as you must be about to turn elder.  Sindy plays for a few hours, and then…

…look who we have here!  Guitar down, now!

As soon as Sindy stops playing her guitar and makes her way over to talk to him, Mr Magician does a runner.

Not to be deterred, daredevil Sindy chases him.  You go, girl!

He makes his way over to the theatre where they engage in conversation.  Turns out he was joining the crowds to see…

…legendary hit movie composer Abraham Finkel, who is hosting an autograph session!  That’s our first completed LTW, so big hurrahs.  I suck at autograph sessions, though.  Abe had a load of people there and still only signed two.  Maybe I should have controlled him rather than letting it all happen autonomously, but I was busy failing to snare the magician.

Oh, and look who we have here.  Someone was clearly jealous that Leighton Sekemoto got his picture in our legacy.  Tough luck, Steel, no-one’s marrying you today, unless I decide to do it for the ghost points I’ll get if I burn you.  Mwahahahahaha.

Seeing as the magician left, I had Sindy play for tips to capitalise on her dad’s signing session.  Whilst we’re on the subject of the theatre, by the way, I had Abraham do a little experimenting.  He went to the cinema (for free – presumably because of his career) and got a +10 popcorn icon moodlet for 16 hours.  Then he toured the theatre and got a ‘bored’ moodlet for a few hours.  Hmm.  I assume some sims will get a positive boost from that, although maybe it depends on traits.  We’ll keep experimenting.

Alongside the magician, Sindy has a firefighter accquaintance.  I have her call both of them every day because neither will come over or meet her anywhere, and they’re both homeless.  Here she is on the phone to the firefighter, but all she can think about is the magician.  He is her destiny.  She and I both believe it – we just need to convince him.

Thomas aged up to YA and rolled athletic.  This annoyed me as I was sure his schooling had been going well.  I blame his bestest mate Sherry Bunch.  I need to get him away from that girl ASAP, she’s clearly a bad influence.  Worried about the Bunch, I immediately got him to call Papergirl over.  I didn’t even take a YA shot of him or hide his plumbob, so eager was I to get them together.

It didn’t take long before Papergirl (her name is Kimberly Waugh) joined the family.  Her LTW is to be a Star News Anchor, which I loved – it’s nice to have the game make sense.  I can’t remember all her traits, but one of them is hot-headed, which I’ve never used before, so that’ll make for some fun experimenting.  She likes lime green so she’ll have a clothing makeover by the next time you see her.

This photo of Amaryllis is the first time I’ve used the camera phone and it was taken as she was celebrating her elder birthday.  I must remember to put this in an inventory when we have a repo man come round later in the legacy (I’ll save that for when we have huge bills as when the Kyotis had a repo visit they took goods worth far less than the bill costs, which was a result of sorts) – the CrinkleWinkles had their family photos zapped once.

Yeah, that’s not quite the look we want, is it?

That’s more like it.  Amaryllis is working her way up the business track at the moment, by the way, which is the third of her four careers for the JOAT lifetime wish.  I haven’t decided on the fourth yet, but it’ll probably be the police so we get a car.

Abraham also aged up.  I changed his clothes to something green but let him keep the grey hair.  It kind of suits him.

I’m going to let both kids have at least one child, so they’ll both be around for a while, but the spare (and their spouse) will be kicked out eventually when they’ve earned me enough points, and of course their offspring won’t contain the Gen 3 heir. So have a think about who you want to see until they die, and whose children you want to take on the Gen 3 mantle…
